Feminism Doesn’t Love You Back

It seems feminism is the new religion of America. Many young, self-proclaiming Christian women can be found saying, "I love feminism!" I have to wonder though, does feminism love them back?

It seems feminism is the new religion of America. Many young Christian women can be found saying, “I love feminism!” I have to wonder though, does feminism love them back? Modern day feminism is no longer just about gaining women’s rights. Today’s feminist can be seen applauding other women who kill their baby within the […]

Your Testimony is Invaluable

"My testimony is boring. I was saved really young." "I don't have a very exciting testimony. I wasn't a drug addict or anything." I've heard statements like these, often. Christians who were graciously placed in a home with godly parents who raised them in God's Word, typically feel as if their salvation story holds little weight. They aren't sure their testimony should even be spoken when placed next to a dramatic story of how God turned someone else's life around. At times, they may long to trade in their story for a more exciting one. Truthfully, theirs may lack drama, but it is a beautiful display of so many other things.

Do You Need Other Christian Women?

When we don't recognize our need, we disobey both the command to reach out to others for help and the command to help others. (James 5:16). I think there are a few reasons we do this.

And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near. (Hebrews 10:24-25 ESV) I’ve been thinking a lot about these verses. We often use them […]

Don’t Envy the Wicked

I recently wrote about how comparison kills friendships within the Church. But what about when our hearts envy those outside of the Body? Should we handle it the same way? Is it okay to envy nonbelievers? Both psalmists, Asaph and David, walked through some of the feelings we may have when we’re tempted to envy […]

Comparison Killed The Friendship

I've been learning a lot about the art of rejoicing with others lately. And I'm learning it as I walk through a painful loss in my own life. As I watch friends and family receive what was taken from me, temptation weighs heavy upon my shoulders. It's a temptation most of us wrestle with and many of us give in to.

When Wives Bribe Their Husbands With Sex

This article is intended for adult women only.  It’s a tale as old as time. An exhausted wife looks at the mountain of laundry, and then at dirty dishes practically jumping out from the sink. She glances over, only to see her husband relaxing on the couch. She thinks to herself, I know what will […]
